In the second quarter of 2025, the top music and podcast applications on the Android platform in Lebanon showed varying trends in downloads, revenues, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Anghami: Play music & Podcasts maintained a steady weekly revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $406 in mid-May. The app saw a significant increase in weekly downloads early in the quarter, reaching over 12.5K in early May, before experiencing a decline to approximately 3.7K by the end of June. Its weekly active users fluctuated but remained robust, peaking at around 137K in early April.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at approximately $244. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at 1.4K in mid-April. Active user numbers showed a notable rise, reaching a peak of about 101.7K by the end of June.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love had a variable revenue stream, reaching $58 by the end of June. Weekly downloads decreased over the quarter, ending at about 440. Despite this, active users showed resilience, peaking at over 25.4K in mid-June.

Apple Music saw modest revenue figures, peaking at $45 in late May. Downloads showed a sharp increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 566 in the last week of June. Active users increased steadily, closing the quarter at approximately 5.1K.

DistroKid showed minimal activity in terms of downloads and active users, with occasional revenue figures peaking at $48 in late May.
